Unfortunately we are down in numbers because of injuries, family commitments, unable to get away or whatever. No directions for Killin, it's in Scotland at the end of Loch Tay. Saturday, 26 July 2014. Greenside up . July 25th. It's an old Irish joke). We drove down Borrowdale as far as the village of Rosthwaite (heap of stones in a clearing), turned down the lane that leads to a National Trust car park, Yew Tree farm, once honoured by no less a person than HRH Prince of Wales, and The Flock Inn. Well worth a visit. It also sells tins of baked beans. This week's car park is at Rosthwaite, Cumbria. This is either Bull Crag or Eagle Crag, memory is going! Waterfall on Greenup Gill.

We walked a few yards back in the direction we had come before turning right under a railway bridge and joining the Durham Coastal Path/England Coastal Path. Much of the north has snow but the part of Northumberland we have chosen for today's walk has only a light dusting.
