https://gahlearner.wordpress.com/writerly-wednesday

By, Nan Claire Falkner. On Founders Day each year, there was a parade which ended in Middleton’s Park Square. Everyone was there this year except for Cullen. He had just lost his wife Hallie in a freak accident. She had received a phone call telling her she was next. The Mayor, what he called himself, was a self- appointed cleanser of the lost souls in his village. Damn it he screamed, This is not what life is supposed to be like! Yes it is, Cullen, she was unclean and she paid the price for it!

By, Nan Claire Falkner. The Sea Monster was incredible. Dubbed Marvin the Gatorfish , it was uncovered near the opening of the tunnel under the sea during reconstruction after the Great Quake. Carla went toward the gate. She had worked three months on Marvin. The wear and tear during the facial reconstruction was excruciating on her hands. Satisfied with her art, she lay down her tools, took off her coveralls, stepped into the shower and let it run over her sore muscles. I have a buyer already!

By, Nan Claire Falkner. In the distance wolves howled their messages to the pack and then they all congregated near the bluff. Below the cliff, were the non-suspecting sheep enjoying a cool breeze and the water flowing in the stream. It was perfect. The shepherd boy was fast asleep as his father noticed the movement on the cliff. Cocking his weapon, the first wolf never saw it coming. Although, Mutton stew sounds mighty good!
