This is one of the most serene and beautiful temples I have been to, and right in my back yard. We burned incense and got the good green smoke…. And while there were some disturbing things like the sign that read “Blood Pond,” (wut the)– There were also super noice things like a kind of Zen-Ninja training ground fitness course. It was a bit of an ambitious venture, climbing up into a mountain range with a two-year-old. It turned out to be an even more ambitious venture when he decided that he didn’t want to walk! I feel pretty good about that. Have been taking the wrong trails the past two times. Such a beautiful view. Nobody around. Just me and the dragonflies and some time to see things a bit more clearly.
