Friday, December 30, 2016. Oh , the North Wind will blow. Some part of the house that was giving way to the strong gusts? We turned on the weather radio and were informed that high winds were hitting our area. Actually we didn't need to be told that.we already knew it! We tossed around the idea of leaving right then. Tuesday, April 26, 2016. I laced up my boots to take a walk down the road this morning. It was a little humid out, the sun was shining and I knew that I would find something to pique my interest down there on the stretch of gravel that goes by my house. Who knows. I stayed and studied the four or five places that had been made all along that section of gravel. I tried to imagine what had gone on. A friendly hello? Or maybe just a welcome hi, how are you, how are the wife and kids? I will never know.

Retired living on a farm in west central Missouri. October 2, 2013. Long time…no post! We also were blessed to have a wonderful lady and her family including a 5 and 2 yr old volunteer to take care of Dilly. It was going to cost at least 200$ to leave her in a kennel and the thought of kenneling her that long was killing us. Brent, Jeremiah and Sydney came in Fri afternoon and Wil took them along with a loaded truck, to TX this morning. Brent worked a bit on stetting up my computer to work faster etc. and it is better. Retired living on a farm in west central Missouri. August 31, 2013. Funeral dinner I was in charge of at church today went very well. We were so glad to do it for this special man’s family and they were grateful. No parade for us tomorrow. I can’t deal with the over 100 temps and the over 100 humidity to go with it.
