The Walk-on Open sponsored by Lenny Crossley was a huge success on Saturday 20th with a record number of participants. The sun shone, the course was in great condition, and the golf was very enjoyable. The overall winner was Norman Ross with a fantastic score of 44 Stableford points, and Sue Thomas won the ladies with 36 points. Congratulations to all the winners. It is recommended during the summer months that players book tee times in advance, either in the shop or by telephone. All players must report to the shop before playing. The clubhouse and shop are open daily from 9am to 5pm. During the season the newly launched cafe - The Links - is open daily from 9:30am to 4pm. We offer home cooked hot foods, homebaked cakes, selection of hot and cold drinks, light lunches and snacks. For non-golfers it is a popular destination before or after a visit to the beach or occasionally to escape from the rain! Visitors please use Honesty Box by the front door if clubhouse is closed.
