Growing up with Luke and Charlie. Tuesday, October 15, 2013. From Caterpillar to Penguin. Charlie is 14 months old and it's time for him to move to the next class. Today is his first full day as a penguin. He's been transitioning to the class for a couple of weeks, but it's still going to be a big adjustment. I can't wait to find out how it all went. Growing up with Luke and Charlie. Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Charlie's first birthday was last week. He took some steps and his first tooth finally started to come in so it was a big week for our little baby! On his birthday w. E went to Jason's Deli then we had some mini bundt cakes. He wasn't quite sure what to make of it at first. Then he started to poke it. I think he liked it. We even got Luke to eat a cupcake! That only took 4 years :). Sunday, August 11, 2013. Growing up with Luke and Charlie. Thursday, May 30, 2013. We took our first trip of the year to the pool recently. Sitting in the grass was a new experience for Charlie. Yes, they are wearing matching bathing suits. I don't usually get them matching clothes, but I couldn't decide who should get the cute crab suit. Growing up with Luke and Charlie. Saturday, May 23, 2015. In Kindergarten each kid gets to be the Super Star for one week. The Super Star gets to be the Line Leader for the week and gets to help with special jobs in the class. His week it was finally Luke's turn. He decorated a poster with pictures from his life and he wrote his age and what each picture was. He showed it to his class and told them different things about himself. The special week ended with Brad and I having lunch with him.

Growing up with Luke and Charlie. Tuesday, September 24, 2013. We got Charlie his first pair of shoes a few weeks ago, but it's been so hot he hasn't had a chance to wear them. Since it was so cool this weekend we spent alot of time outside and he finally got a chance to test them out. They didn't slow him down at all, not even while navigating the rocks at the playground. It did slow us down when he tried to eat the rocks. Luke likes to call him "Little Frankenstein" when he walks. Cliff's Notes on 2016.

Growing up with Luke and Charlie. Monday, August 25, 2014. First Day of Kindergarten. We've been talking about August 25th with Luke for weeks. We moved to a "new" city because of this day. Luke's been anxious about it, and even seemed like he was coming down with something yesterday, but he looked at ease when we left him in his class. And we managed without any tears hitting our cheeks! He's ready to go with his new outfit and backpack. He loves anything new! Ready to cross the street to the school!

He wasn't quite sure what to do. He got the hang of it and found a few eggs. He is a climber as evidenced by the shiner he's got here. He's crazy about bubbles. And dipping things into a sauce. Luke likes to climb some too. At the family garden at the Wildflower Center on Mother's Day. A brief moment of stillness.

Growing up with Luke and Charlie. Friday, July 10, 2015. Luke turned 6 with a party at the park near our house. We lucked out because it was not too hot. Brad was in charge of the games which included stomping on balloons attached to other kids, pin the car on the car, and a Cars pinata. Luke with his old pal, Vincent.
