Children's Book and Young Adult Author. Saturday, May 28, 2011. I didn't retire to sit home and do housework. A couple of weeks ago my husband and I met my sister and her husband in Mag. Nolia, Arkansas. We stayed at Lake Columbia County Park. It was beautiful and so well kept. The host went out of his way to welcome and accomidate all the visitors. They have a little bit of everything: collector books, new books, paintings, pottery, jewelry, etc. I found two books I had to have for our grand daughter. When I'm feeling Angry. Children's Book and Young Adult Author. Wednesday, March 26, 2014. I've been side tracked for a few months with family illnesses, but now I'm back writing. Now Where Did That Come From? S a collection of some of my favorite tales. I added a paragraph or two after each story explaining where the seed idea originated. Some came from Christmas cards, others from newspaper articles or a story told by a friend. In any case, children and adults often ask about the source of ideas to write about.
