Bread is one of the things that people sometimes miss when eating low carb so finding alternatives is always good. The butchers here have very good meat and the burgers they make are pure meat with no fillers added. The lanes are full of yellow daisies one day, then punctuated with purple heads of the thistle the next. A week later the red poppies arrive in clumps around the olive trees. It’s celebrated with flowers, for last few days the locals have been going into the hills around us and collecting flowers. More will head out today. They will then make May flower wreaths.
