Isela Leal was born in Mexico. She graduated from the Universidad Metropolitana, in Mexico City, in 1980, with a degree in Architecture. She is a member of the School of Architects of Mexico. For 15 year she worked as an architect in design, project and construction. In parallel to her professional activity in Mexico she performed different workshops in photography, drawing, and architectonic models. Her artwork is permanently exhibited at the Gallery Art on the Levee. At Mason, OH.

After painting from 10:00A to 2:00P on Thursday at Smale Riverfront Park, I stayed in town to go to the Cincinnati Art Club's evening Sketch Group. The lotus are at their peak as we hoped, when we scheduled the group to come. Didn't seem to be to many who took advantage, probably afraid of the possibility of rain.
