Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Christmas 2011 Recap and Highlights. I also posted this at We Shall Sew. In case you go there, too). Well, it's Tuesday now, the 27th, and we finally ate Christmas dinner tonight. :) There is no real reason for the delay, except that I kept sleeping through my put-the-turkey-in-the-oven-NOW window. How was I supposed to prepare a turkey and get it in the oven smack dab in the middle of my nap time? And I sure needed my nap on Christmas day. It was totally worth it, though.

Monday, July 25, 2011. Potty Training {Days Beyond}. So, I gave up potty training Mookie. I just couldn't take the feelings of failure and abuse and torture and bribery anymore. Thursday, August 27, 2009. Visiting Gammi and Craig. We had a wonderful vacation to Massachusetts to visit family! We spent a lot of time with Gammi (my mom) and Craig on the Cape. Friday, July 9, 2010. Days 4 and 5. Day 4: More driving. We're all a little sick of the car at this point. But we did get to see many beautiful cornfields and windmills. Such is the beauty of America. At the end of today, we will arrive at the lakehouse in Wisconsin- hopefully in time for dinner! Uncle Larry is lighting the bonfire and we are off to toast marshmallows. It is great to catch up with Uncle Larry and Aunt Carolann at their own home- usually we see them in the road! I heart sunshiny days! Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Week 1, Day 1: complete. I am going to try to run a 5k at the end of October. Today was pretty easy. Just the right amount of jogging/walking and my route was the perfect length. I even bought this nifty couch to 5k app for my ipod that tells me when to walk and when to jog.
