galloping goat gossip

Monday, September 17, 2012. All year long it is a fabulous view beside our shop in the barn. Come on in and have a laugh and do a bit of shopping! The flying crows guard the garden. We are a bit of an oddity our little gift shop. We are situated in an old 150 year old barn on the side of the Black River. We have our hens wandering around the yard occasionally accosting people with ice cream cones. There are two goats, Knit and Purl that eat all the leaves and grass you can offer through the fence. We are...

galloping goat gossip: October 2009

http://gallopinggoatgossip.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, October 27, 2009. We had an amazing and fantastic Scarecrow Festival this year! Thank you again to all of the people that came out and made a scarecrow and for those that just gave a donation. We raised the most $ ever and gave a cheque for $1300 to the Reverend Jean Wilson for the church's trust fund that is set up for Joseph Stoness and his family. The popcorn crew of ladies were also alot of help though I'm not sure if they ate more popcorn then they sold or not! For creating all our scarecro...

galloping goat gossip: Easy Landscape for Kids

http://gallopinggoatgossip.blogspot.com/2010/04/easy-landscape-for-kids.html

Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Easy Landscape for Kids. I took more paint out again for Art Club today. Most teachers and parents, myself included usually avoid the whole paint thing in the classroom and at home with their kids. It can be disasterously messy for furniture, floors and clothes. Not to mention how everyone disappears when it's time to clean up and who wants to make a mess all over their kitchen table and find places for wet masterpieces to dry? When I showed up this week the kids were a little wor...

Saturday, May 15, 2010. Kids Art Camp Van. So our van has had a bit of a face lift, two giant faces to be exact, in order to promote our summer art camp and after school art clubs. Like the characters you see here! Also, as we had to get a little promo for the shop in there, this is the view you will get when you are driving behind us. Here's the close up:. And finally, here is a quick video of a walk around the van, so you can see how it all fits together:. Friday, May 14, 2010. Et up new groups of kids...

When the dairy kids were born she also gave me Tevja and Yentl and the herd grew from there. This website is to introduce you to the joys of owning goats. Proudly powered by WordPress.
