Inshore fishing has been great for the month of May. Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, Bluefish, Whiting, Shark (Atlantic Sharpnose and Blacktip) and Redfish are being caught around the jetties and surrounding areas. In offshore action, king, ling, shark, amberjack, vermillion snapper and other reef species are being caught. You can check the daily fishing report for Galveston under the Links tab.
