Friday, January 29, 2010. The Christmas Children's Party 2009. The Eglinton Hotel hosted a children's Christmas party on the 12th of December 2009. It was an eventful ceremony with many children of the residents taking part in the entertaining the parents, residents and visitors. Christmas 2008 Adult Party. Adult's Asylum Seekers Galway Christmas Party! Thanks to the wonderful efforts of Carole Raftery and her trusty band of Eglinton volunteers, Galway's First Christmas Party for adult asylum-seekers was an outstanding success. Held in the Slovakian-owned KCRMA bar in Salthill, the turnout of residents from both the Great Western. Centres was very high.
