He was married to my Mom for 62 years, and loved her to the very end. He missed her so much, that 5 months after she passed away he went to join her. He lived a long, full life that makes me realize how fortunate I was to have such a Godly example. My life was shaped by him in so many ways.thanks Dad for everything! Shelling pecans at age 91.

These cookies are not decorative, but yummy and gluten free! Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies. 1 cup of sugar. 1 cup of peanut butter, creamy or crunchy. Bag of chocolate kisses. Makes about 2 dozen cookies. Chocolate Oat Bars - NO BAKE! 2 sticks of butter, melted. 3/4 c brown sugar. 1/2 tsp. vanilla. 2 1/2 c. oats. 3/4 c peanut butter.

I knew going to join Alyssa and her squad at PVT would be a blessing, but I had never been off the continent of North America. I was not excited about the long travel days and hours in the air. Kate tried out for drum major at Rome High as a rising freshman. She didn't make it. During marching season she played her trombone and really loved it. She's a hard worker and wants to succeed, so it was no surprise that she continued to talk about trying again for the coveted conductor position. Tryouts this year brought different results, she made it!
