Magic: The Gathering – Gaming vs. Cancer

Raquo; Magic: The Gathering. The tournament will be Team Unified Constructed. The format of Team Constructed follows the general restrictions of Standard Format in relation to card legality and deck construction with the added restriction that a maximum of four of any card (except basic lands) may be used in the combined pool (main deck and sideboard) of all team members’ libraries. The deck format conforms to all other basics for Constructed rules:. Minimum of 60 cards per deck. The price is per team 30.

The first Clix For Cancer event was held at Love Coffee. Newport I.O.W. on Sunday 20th October 2013. The format for the tournament was 400pt Modern Age (No resources, no team bases, Spiral, Ghost Rider and the Heroes 4 Hire ATA are banned). I sadly don’t have the list of all the teams anymore but the winner was Chris Shea, Louis Sice took second place, Will Compton was third, and Sam Grieve was fourth. The total raised was 156. Raquo; Magic The Gathering. This year’s Gaming vs. Cancer Magic: The Gathering tournament will use our “Super Sealed” format. Each player starts with 6 boosters of the latest Standard set from which to build a sealed deck. After each round, you will receive an additional booster to add to your pool and rebuild your deck as you wish you’ll get this whether you win or lose each match!
