Thursday, April 30, 2015. Cross that one off my Bucket List. I have some trouble with the draining effect of heat, so Randy and I started out at 6:00 am. A one hour drive from St George to Zion, parking and shuttling through the canyon brought us to the Grotto trailhead (which is also the Angel’s Landing trailhead) stop #6 at about 8:00 am. Equipped with comfortable shoes, water, and hiking sticks, we were ready to go. I must have stopped at every turn, but I still felt great! This is what we came for!

Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Received my third and last steroid injection this evening at Dr. Alldredge’s Bountiful office. He seemed pleased with the immediate and positive results. Dr Digre’s office called me this morning. I explained my situation and chosen emergency treatment and it prompted a call from Barbara who is directing the clinical study. I am all set up for an MRI on Monday. God must have a hand in making fortune cookies. This particular one was made especially for me. Sunday, July 14, 2013.

Thursday, September 26, 2013. When the Mountains Call. 8220;The mountains are calling and I must go.”. Packed up yesterday morning and made the journey (of 15 minutes) to the mountains and Tanners Flat. It is amazing to me how we can be SO close to home and yet so far away. Beautiful spot #16 right by the rushing water. I can hear my mother exclaim, “Smell the pine trees! 8221; The aspens are just beginning to display their golden Autumn colors. Sunday, May 31, 2015. The scouts in our ward come out to our house and removed the dead and mostly dead trees out back, as well as weeding the flower gardens in the front. I didn't get a head count but my guess was that we had a party of 15 young men, and not-as-young men working in our yards.
