Mr Avey does indeed make valid points. Can the state gain a considerable amount of revenue taxing marijuana? Sure Would legalizing it lessen the burden on law enforcement? Polly Sy in the Lone Star State: Someone to Blame
http://pollysytx.blogspot.com/2011/05/someone-to-blame.html
Polly Sy in the Lone Star State. Monday, May 2, 2011. I mean, this is the lady who handles the State’s budget and monetary funds this is not the State’s IT team. Shouldn't they be the ones monitoring the "information lines" we are sending information through and making sure they are encrypted and secure, not the Comptroller? So, why is that not the case in this situation? Personally it makes me wonder; when I was unemployed I used the Texas Work Force Commission to help me find a job. A cup of Texas tea.

Polly Sy in the Lone Star State: March 2011
http://pollysytx.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Polly Sy in the Lone Star State. Monday, March 7, 2011. I am sure everyone has heard about the teacher layoffs and many other suggested educational budget cuts, but have you heard about the textbooks issues? The article is a little forward and although I do not completely agree with his view, he does bring some other interesting items to attention. Today's Ne...

Blue Texas: The Women's Health Program
http://bluetexas2011.blogspot.com/2011/02/womens-health-program.html
Monday, February 14, 2011. The Women's Health Program. This article suggests that the renewal of this program would have highly beneficial outcome. I absolutely agree. I believe our schools definitely need a push for further sex education that involves the parents. The health program offers women with education regarding family planning and the Prevention Works Act proposes further education within our schools. With that said, I completely agree with Kirk Watson's statement. The Austin American Statesman.

Texas Blogglin': Re:Paying Criminals for their Crimes
http://moralestexasblog.blogspot.com/2011/04/repaying-criminals-for-their-crimes.html
Sunday, April 17, 2011. Re:Paying Criminals for their Crimes. Erika De Los Santos. Mother used to always tell me not to touch the iron. One day I was able to reach it. I will never touch it again. We must burn our hand in order to learn. And these young criminals will never feel the burn if we continue placing handicaps for them. Other than that, I like what I've read. I look forward to reading the next original editorial. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Round Rock, Tx, United States.
