There is solar powered lights and water pressure system with hot and cold running water and shower. The accommodation is comfortable and is only a few years old. By following the river and making a couple of "lift overs", anglers can access areas that few people have been before. The angling is exceptional and the exploring is exhilarating. The camp has 4 - 14 foot boats, 2 Alumarine and 2 Lunds with 2 swivel seats in each unit. They are powered with new 9.9 HP Suzuki 4 stroke outboard motors. Kitchi Isl...

Fishing Stories

These are photos from recent fishing trip to northern Manitoba. We flew to Winnipeg (from Santa Fe) and drove about 2 hours north to float plane camp (Matheson Island) and spent the first night in relative luxury. We left the following morning on De Haviland "Otter", a 9-cylinder radial-engine float plane to a remote fishing camp on Longish Lakes, about 60 miles north. Total payload was about 1,500 lbs. plus fuel. Keep up to date with the latest news and share with all your friends!
