Nursing, hospital and home help for Officers' families - for life. Serving or retired, British Military Officers Regular or Army Reserve. Can apply to join the fund. Those eligible to apply for membership of the Fund are:. 1 Qualification for membership requires that a member has had one week of commissioned service in the UK Armed Forces. This includes Regular, Reserve Officer, Short Service or Late Entry Commissions. 5 Members under categories 2 - 4 are entitled to claim benefit in their own right.

The full rules of the Fund can be viewed using the link below. At the AGM held on 7th July 2015, the Committee recognised that MoD no longer differentiates between Regular and Reserve commissions. Helping serving and retired officers of the UK Armed Forces meet costs incurred. Due to illness or injury of their dependants. Cash grants are made towards meeting the expenses incurred by the illness of a member's dependant. The Annual General Meeting of 2012 proposed a rise in benefits and subscriptions to reflect rising medical care costs. The Annual Subscription is £40. This subscription became payable by all members from 1 January 2013. The Subscription is payable by Direct Debit on 1st January each year. A member becomes eligible for benefit 6 months after joining.

In order to make a claim on the Fund, you will need to download a Claim Application. This should be completed and signed by you and by a relevant doctor, and posted to the Secretary with the receipts for the expenses incurred. Please see our Benefits page.
