Sunday, November 9, 2008. Halloween was crazy this year. The weather was unseasonably warm and daylight savings time kept the sun from going down an hour earlier. We had a record number of trick-or-treaters, approx. 350-400 based on the candy we. I dressed up as a sassy Pirate Lady, and Gene was, as usual, Frankenstein- complete with "mini me" this year. Monday, December 6, 2010. This is one of the projects I have been meaning to do since summer! Sometimes it seems nearly impossible to get everyone together for a picture. I'm sure you are sad that you missed seeing Steelhead with a scraggly beard - believe me, he looked like Shaggy from Scooby-doo. I told the kids Sunday morning to be ready for pictures by 11:45. and Steehead went and shaved. Maybe I should say those magic words more often! The "Silly" picture. (Lemur is "mad"). Thursday, December 1, 2011. DIII MARCHING BAND COMPETITION - OCTOBER 2011. The DIII Marching Band Competition was on the Blue Turf again this year. VHS chose a performance that was super hard, and they worked their buns off perfecting it from August until the competition. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. We Trust Him and we know He answers our prayers. Would we do it again? January 2011 - It Flew Right By! January was really busy! It seemed to just zoom by. Usually January drags on and on and on. not this year! Martin had his FIFTEENTH birthday on the 24th!
