Monday, April 26, 2010. It is still very hard for us to believe that these tiny precious embryos (and yes this is the actual 1st picture of the babies! Resulted in these little miracles. Which are now these big bundles of joy. Still, after 6 months of parenthood where our life has been turned upside down (in a very good way! Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Kirtus has made great strides with the nursery over the past month and my sister's were able to pretty much finish it off while they were here this past weekend:) They brought baby clothes and supplies and of course their creativity:) I feel so much more prepared (well, as much as I can:) after all of their help- I know parenting usually comes "naturally" to everyone but it sure does help to have some assistance along the way:). All we needed to do was get them framed:).

Sunday, October 3, 2010. There is something about a red wagon that reminds me of childhood so much:) Hence my excitement when I found a great deal on this radio flyer wagon over the weekend! This is going to be perfect for the pumpkin patch, halloween, and evening walks now that the weather is getting nice! The kids seemed to enjoy it and Jake only tried to climb out at the very end (thank goodness for seat belts! Lilly and Jake the first time in the wagon- seem to like it! Let's go on our walk ALREADY?

Monday, December 21, 2009. I'm just one day shy of a 2 month hiatius from this blog.and A LOT has occured:) I am now a proud (and tired) mama of two beautiful children and also a much more grateful wife to my amazing husband:). For all you non-facebookers, I have high hopes this week of updating this with pictures, our birth story, etc. and I will do my best! If anyone knows if there is a way to update blogs via my i-phone let me know! For now I'll leave you with a picture of our Christmas presents:).

Saturday, May 16, 2009. How this happened.:). Well after 4 years of trying for a family, 4 miscarriages, fertility treatments, and LOTS of heartache.we are not only succesfully pregnant, but we are so excited to be pregnant with twins! We are finally out of the danger zone (13 weeks preggos) and the realness of this is starting to sink in:). We'll have to get some ultrasound pictures posted soon but in the meantime here are a few videos of our 9 week ultrasound (I snuck our camera in! If they are boys.

Its been a crazy fun-filled month of birthday parties, trick or treating, and a busy social calendar:) I've been having fun planning the twin's birthday party for a while now with the help of my party-crazy sister Holly:) We had a "nursery rhyme" theme and the twin's got so many wonderful children's books:) Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day:). Monday, September 13, 2010. I am amazed every day by my little girl:) She is growing and developing by leaps and bounds and I can already see the beautiful young girl she will be! We had so many "challenges" with Lilly.from her stay at the NICU to her reflux and allergies that it is so refreshing to be able to just "enjoy" her in this uneventful and happy season:) She has turned into a little charmer and LOVES to smile and giggle all of the time:) She also LOVES dancing to music just like her mama! 5 my ...
