Irishserb's Miniatures Adventure: February 2015
http://irishserb.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2015. A Little Progress on my Rides (28mm Sc-fi Recce Cars). Haven't had much free time lately, so I haven't been able to do much, but did manage to work on the second turret for my 28mm sci-fi recce cars. As I suggested previously, they will simply be Mk1 and Mk2 versions of the car with different turret configuration and a couple of slight differences in the hull. Unfortunately, that is all I have to share for now. Sunday, February 8, 2015. I think the second recce car may get a d...

The Mugabia-Uwanda War is an ongoing conflict or series of conflicts set in fictional countries in an Africa-like continent. The games consists of both strategic and tactical rules with battles being played out with 15mm miniatures. Below are links to my blog posts related to the Mugabia-Uwanda War:. Irishserb's Miniatures Adventure: June 2015
http://irishserb.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 28, 2015. 15mm Odds and Ends, Modern/Post War Vehicles and Infantry. I've been trying to get stuff off of my painting table, and this weekend, I finally addressed some 15mm problem children that have been hanging around. And compared to the proper QRF Ferret Mk2 on the right below. Combine these with the Peter Pig armor crewmen that I painted, and it was a pretty productive weekend. Now if I can just get that Mugabian border crossing done, I can get some games in next weekend. Welcome to my ...

Irishserb's Miniatures Adventure: AAR16: Recharged, Uwanda Tries Again (African Imagi-Nations at War)
http://irishserb.blogspot.com/2015/07/aar16-recharged-uwanda-tries-again.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. AAR16: Recharged, Uwanda Tries Again (African Imagi-Nations at War). First off, I realized just after posting links to three sites that I mis-typed the AAR number in the last battle. Should have been AAR15, I'll get around to changing it soon. Now, on to AAR 16. The battle takes place at B15, center bottom of the map. As Uwanda's troops advanced, both air forces had already begun fighting for control of the sky. The stage was set for the second attack. Mugabian defenses consisted o...

Irishserb's Miniatures Adventure: December 2014
http://irishserb.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 7, 2014. Dawgie's Men: Preparing Old Imperial Guard Figs for a Return to Action. Anyway, several years ago I bought a large number of old IG from an internet acquaintance who some of you probably knew as Baddawg6, Baddawg, or just plain Dawgie. Got about a hundred of Dawgie's old figs, mostly GW old IG with a few others worked in as well. Recently, I finally decided to repaint them, and organized the figs, mixing my old figs with Dawgie's to building a company of 114 figures. The fig...

Irishserb's Miniatures Adventure: October 2014
http://irishserb.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2014. Resurrection of My Painting Table. Lets see if I can finish one of them this year. Sunday, October 19, 2014. AAR14: Convoy Duty (A Battle in the Fictional Nations of Uwanda). This battle took place on the road approaching Objective A58 from the west (near the center of the map). It involved an Uwanda infantry platoon in Saracens, a few trucks, a couple of jeeps with machineguns, a single Saladin, and a M42 Duster for fire support, should anything go wrong. Tendaji, a ULF fighter...

Irishserb's Miniatures Adventure: January 2015
http://irishserb.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 30, 2015. Rides for my Old Imperial Guard Figs (WIPs of a 28mm Sci-fi APC). Been working a bunch again, but squeezing in a little hobby time, whenever I can. High on the to-do list are rides for old Imperial Guard figs. In order to be mobile, my Guard company need a bunch of vehicles, including APCs, a command vehicle, and scout cars. I've had a number of designs setting about for a long time, so in recent days have reworked a couple of the old ideas a little. And better view of the hull.

Irishserb's Miniatures Adventure: August 2014
http://irishserb.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Misc Projects and Whatnot. Been working a lot (day job, not the hobby) since the last post, and between lack of time, energy, and plain old sore and stiff hands, I haven't made any progress on my APC, but have been doing what I can otherwise. Ponape; 28mm Colonial/Victorian Adventure Games. Above, the start of a hull for Bully Hayes ship, the Leonora, my destroyed. French destroyer and a German gunboat. The Space Bubble/Job Pod/Almost Spaceship. In addition to the bubble above, ...

Irishserb's Miniatures Adventure: AAR15: Charging Ahead (A Battle of 15mm Imagi-Nations)
http://irishserb.blogspot.com/2015/07/aar14-charging-ahead-battle-of-15mm.html
Friday, July 10, 2015. AAR15: Charging Ahead (A Battle of 15mm Imagi-Nations). After much debate, the Uwandan Army planned to attack Mugabia's southwestern most region, attacking objective B15, with the intent to take the objective and then swing north to encircle the occupied Pettu territory. Objective B15 is located just east of the Uwanda-Mugabia. Border at bottom center of the map. Mugabian view looking west. Uwandan view looking east. On the ground, Uwanda recce moved into position and directed arti...
