This blog is just about the quilts that I love to make. Why do I quilt? Sunday, June 23, 2013. Today has been a good day. Finished all the chores yesterday so spent all day today working on a few quilts. I assembled the twenty sections that I have embroidered however I cannot decide on the border fabric. I started to embroider some corner sections but they came out too big which would mean that the border would be too wide and over power the rest of the quilt. Here is the quilt so far.

Finished off the wedding quilt last weekend but we have been so busy getting ready to go away that I forgot to post a blog. So here it is.Taa daaaa! Very pleased with the finished quilt. The pattern is the Antique Butterflies pattern from Anita Goodesign except i have based the fabric selection on the colours of India. Very lovely colors yummy. September 19, 2013 at 7:48 AM. This is based on Molly Mine Crazy Quilt series 1. I love these combined appliqué and embroidery sets and will be ordering the Chritsmas series 1 shortly. This is squarer than it looks in the photo - had a minor problem with the stabiliser curling. That's what this is all about - doing a Quilt and learning. Thanks you for viewing my work.
