Garden Rate And Review: Allium bulgaricum: Bulgarian Onion
http://gardenrateandreview.blogspot.com/2008/07/allium-bulgaricum-bulgarian-onion.html
Garden Rate And Review. Sunday, July 20, 2008. Allium bulgaricum: Bulgarian Onion. This is how the flowers normally look when not being propped up to be photographed like in the picture above. Not very impressive is it? Unless you really love alliums and want to expand your collection of these bulbs I don't recommend this bulb. The flowers while nice, don't stand out in the garden much and don't seem to be attract many beneficial insects. I give this allium two out of five stars. Latest From My Blog.

Garden Rate And Review: GardenStew
http://gardenrateandreview.blogspot.com/2007/11/gardenstew.html
Garden Rate And Review. Saturday, November 24, 2007. I was surfing the web recently and came across a gardening forum I'd never seen listed before. I got curious and followed the link and came across GardenStew.com which bills itself as a "Home and Gardening Community." I got curious and started to investigate the forum and see what it had offered that you couldn't find at a large place like GardenWeb or Dave's Garden or a niche forum like YouGrowGirl. Forums don't have the depth of a GardenWeb. But it h...

Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Since most of my favorite bulbs are too tender for my garden and would probably die over the winter here in Chicago I need to be able to plant them and later find them. The problem is that once fall comes around I sometimes forget about where I placed them. This year I have been using things like this strawberry basket from the grocery store. Links to this post. Sunday, November 18, 2007. Bulb Planting Hack Update. Back in May I wrote " Bulb Planting Hack. And posted about an experiment I was going to try out when planting tender bulbs in my garden that had to be dug up in the winter. The idea is really simple and I'm sure had been thought of by many gardeners before and I wish it would have occurred sooner to me. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Garden Rate And Review: Sprout Home (Chicago Garden Center)
http://gardenrateandreview.blogspot.com/2007/09/sprout-home-chicago-garden-center.html
Garden Rate And Review. Sunday, September 2, 2007. Sprout Home (Chicago Garden Center). Recently I had the opportunity to stop in and wander around Sprout Home, a little home decor/garden center in the city of Chicago. I'd passed by it a few times this summer but hadn't gone in because it looked like many pretentious shops in Chicago. Just about as soon as I stepped inside I immediately regretted never have gone in before. Some of the merchandise can be see on their website Sprout Home. 745 N Damen Ave.

Garden Rate And Review: Dave's Garden
http://gardenrateandreview.blogspot.com/2007/01/daves-garden.html
Garden Rate And Review. Friday, January 5, 2007. I wish I could tell you all of these neat things about Dave's Garden. I'm sure the content on their forums is every bit as good as the content on GardenWeb but on GardenWeb you can get it for free! Don't even get me started on the look of the site and forum or the horribly placed advertising that non paying members see when they come to Dave's Garden from a search. My other gardening blog. Gardeners in general are very generous people - generous with their...
