Gardening with a Black Thumb

Gardening with a Black Thumb. Sunday, March 30, 2008. Though our weather continues to spring back and forth from spring (10C, spring rains and showers/sunny periods) to late winter (3C, some flurries and clouds) it feels like it is time to start planning the garden. Inside, well I don't have a lot of plants. Part of this being because I don't remmeber to water them and part because of Nemesis. (yes, you remember him.black voracious kitty? Gardening with a Black Thumb: Nemesis

http://www.gardeningwithablackthumb.blogspot.com/2007/08/nemesis.html

Gardening with a Black Thumb. Wednesday, August 8, 2007. Yes, he looks sweet enough but this, my friends, is my nemesis. He is big and black and (more importantly), he'll eat anything green he can get his whiskers on. Welllet's be honest here. Yes, one year I did. This year I decided no more miss nice gardener. My DS was nagging for a garden, I was tired of losing to the fat cat. I put the seedlings on a different. Windowsill. And voila! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Planting Out and First Crop.

Gardening with a Black Thumb. Monday, August 20, 2007. Carrots. We love them and I thought I had the fool-proof plan for growing them on our patio. Well, it might have been a fool proof plan but, it wasn't a black thumb girl proof plan! To start with, I started them off indoors. Yes. I know. Why? Mostly I think it was because I was just so excited to be sowing seeds that. I couldn't help myself! If you look closely, you can see the roots sticking out everywhere from being confined in the meshy. At long l...

Gardening with a Black Thumb: July 2007

http://www.gardeningwithablackthumb.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html

Gardening with a Black Thumb. Monday, July 23, 2007. I love to garden. However, I have a busy life, two small children and an amazing forgetfulnesss when it comes to watering the poor green things in my possession. Many a plant has withered away and died an unhappy death because I've forgotten all about it. I am a patient person though so I keep trying to think of new ways of getting myself to remember! I'll give photos and background in my next post. happy gardening! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

View my complete profile. Weather where I am. Wednesday, 27 October 2010. Where has the month gone? I always get to the end of a month and wonder where on earth it has gone! I almost always start out the month with a clean calendar page with only a few appointments booked on it and end up with a page full of "stuff". Sometimes it would be far better for me not to have so much going on but it is amazing how the time goes by so quickly. I'm not sure any of you manage, but trying to fit in anything else oth...
