Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Split black gram (dhuli urad dal) 1 cup. Green chillies (chopped) 3. Peppercorns (sabot kali mirch) (crushed) 1 tsp. Curry leaves (chopped) 10-15. Asafoetida (hing) powder ½ tsp. Soak dal for 1 hour only. Drain and grind dal along with hing to a thick, rough paste using minimum water. Do not make it too smooth. Mix green chillies, peppercorns, salt and curry leaves. Beat well for 2-3 minutes, with the fingers till dal turns fluffy. Heat oil in a kadhai. Links to this post.

Monday, April 8, 2013. Cauliflower 1 big flower. Tomato puree ½ cup. Ginger ½”. Salt, red chilli, turmeric, garam masala ½ tsp. Cumin seeds 1 tsp. Cut cauliflower into medium florets. Deep fry them till golden. In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil. Add cumin seeds fry till crackles. Add onion sauté till golden followed by homemade tomato, ginger and green chilli puree. Cook till it leaves oil. Add all spices. Cook for few seconds. Add cream curd mix, cook for few seconds. Add peas. Cook till it soft.

Gargnesarn - Välkommen till min blogg! Mitt namn är Camilla och jag går på universitetet i Umeå och läser till förskolelärare.Här skriver jag om allt mellan himel och jord, det som faller mig in helt enkelt.

I lördags provade jag att tävla med skoter och sum summarum så var det jättekul! Haha fast under andra heatet vi körde bröt jag efter att jag legat som en sköldpadda på rygg i ett djupt dike och badat. (Arbetskollegan som också körde sa "fan att jag inte har hjälmkameran på mig nu då"). Under kvällen blev det party och det var himla trevligt, men det brukar ju vara det.
