I was going to break this post up into several different ones, but I just ended up putting everything into one. Sorry it's a little lengthy, but now I can breathe easier knowing I'm caught up. I had to start off, of course, with Garret and Jaida making a "tower" in one of the first snow storms in November. She couldn't believe he could do that with snow! That grin just makes me melt.

June 12, 2012. 1 year is not a very long period of time, but when that year is your child's entire lifetime, it somehow seems far greater and more significant. This past year has been a blessing, a joy, a challenge, and a privilege. Kasen turned 1 in May, and I am amazed at the growth a child can make in that short amount of time. Loud (he's a screamer). Garret * Natalie * Jaida * Kamden * Kasen * Karter. July 5, 2011. In June, Jaida was able to attend a "Princess Dance Camp" with her cousins Abby and Aisha. I was nervous to sign her up because I didn't know how she would do. I don't know what I was worried about because she absolutely loved it! She loved getting ready each day with a different leotard and skirt. She basically lived in leo's that week and didn't want to take them off! At the performance with Abby and Aisha. New sun glasses are the best!

Thursday, January 14, 2010. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We had a fun Christmas Eve. We did nativity puppets while we read in Luke, had appetizers for dinner and read "mickey's" Christmas story before we went to bed. Marriner was so excited and Chase, of course, could not wait for morning. I must have been enjoying the moment far too much to take pictures! Mom made us all matching jammies. Here are some pictures of the kiddos patiently getting impatient. I love how Abby is cradling Gretchen's head.

Friday, April 23, 2010. The kids had a great time looking for Easter eggs. Grandma and Grandpa Jensen hosted the annual Easter Egg Hunt.a true success! Chase made sure everyone had a fair amount of eggs. And only one "numbered" egg for each person.the numbered ones got you a prize. Chase won a squirmy worm. Brett and Trudy Williams. Finding Joy in Our Journey. Thursday, February 18, 2010. We had a fun Christmas flying to Dallas, Texas to be with Garett, Larissa and Braiden. We hadn't seen them since New Year's 2009. So they showed us where they live and met some friends and where they have been going to school, church, shopping, looking for homes doing business etc. We had so much pleasure in getting to know Braiden. Christmas morning was fun watching Braiden! And snow in Dallas was an unusual occurrence.
