And this is the best part of our story. Monday, November 29, 2010. What Did Harlen Think About Her 1st Thanksgiving? I'm confused. why do I get milk and you guys get turkey? I thought it was fun to watch mom and Grandma cook all day! I enjoyed being the center of attention, as always. Loved watching the Cowboys game with Dad! Liked the Christmas decorations going up! The lights are so pretty! Sad that mommy left to go Black Friday shopping :(. I get to eat the turkey next year? Wanted to eat the flower!

And this is the best part of our story. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Harlen took her first 'swim' in the pool this weekend. I think she liked it! She loved watching the boys play basketball, looking at Aunt Cassie while she swam under water, splashing on the steps, floating in her tube, 'swimming' with mom, and riding on daddy's shoulders. And this is the best part of our story. Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Our sweet girl was a ladybug this Halloween. She is obsessed with "buddies", bugs, and so we asked if she wanted to be a bee or a ladybug and she chose. :) The wings never made it on though. She didn't think those were too cool. Our pumpkins. H asked for monsters, and daddy gave her a monster with a bow! Have no fear, Thanksgiving decorations are being put out! Playing with her truck and some dirt. Made daddy proud. Trip to the zoo!

And this is the best part of our story. Thursday, May 13, 2010. 18 Weeks and Someone is Being Stubborn! From the little one, but she just would not turn over! They also saw a little debris in her tummy that is normal, but they need to make sure it passes through her system so we are going back at 20 weeks to do it all over again. Thanks to their help that weekend, we were able to complete the kitchen and furniture placement, replace door hardware, hang lights, paint, and unpack all the boxes. Monday, October 25, 2010. Where you go when you die.according to a Kindergartener. Just want to share a little conversation from "C" and "J," two of my students. To set the mood, we were sitting at a short kindergarten table in small kindergarten chairs making sentences and writing them down. My friend, C, usually requires a lot of my attention, while J is very independent. The conversation proceeds:. C: Mrs. Spencer, my grandma, my Nana, picks me up from school. They make cleaning so much faster, and so much easier. No more stinky/toxic chemicals (even those claiming to be natural can have a scent and let's face it, clean shouldn't have a scent. And no more hauling around buckets of cleaning products from room to room. All you need are your cloths. Now, I only use these.

Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Easter day was fun. I teach the CTR 5 class and the Easter lesson is one of my favorites. We started the day with our baskets. I'm kicking myself for not getting Lucas a cute pair of Easter pj's but you live and you learn :). Then we all got ready for church. Then I made Easter dinner.
