Adventures in Onionism: January 2015
http://garrettheonion.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
This is my blog about my adventures in long-distance backpacking, ultra-marathons, sarcasm, and maybe a bit of development economics. This other site is my academic economics site. Monday, January 12, 2015. I did my first orienteering race(s) this weekend, through the Bay Area Orienteering Club. I had a ton of fun, as evidenced by my GPS track:. Thursday, August 06, 2015. I went to Utah last weekend to run Ultra Adentures' Tushar 93K. Just wrote about, and is definitely my kind of race. Which didn't sound like it would mix well with a couple hundred runners. For Then we climbed, and climbed, saw some mountain goats, and kept climbing, until we summited Delano Peak.

Adventures in Onionism: Quick Warmup
http://garrettheonion.blogspot.com/2015/08/quick-warmup.html
This is my blog about my adventures in long-distance backpacking, ultra-marathons, sarcasm, and maybe a bit of development economics. This other site is my academic economics site. Monday, August 03, 2015. Last weekend I decided to get some work done and run a local race instead of heading to the Sierras. So Sunday Yuch and I headed down the coast a bit and ran the Skyline to the Sea Trail. I ran this up and back on Christmas Day several years ago. But this experience was a little better. Geddessentials: March 2014
http://geddessentials.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 23, 2014. Soccer Girl At Last. For a kid who has been going to soccer games since she was a newborn. Eager seems too mild a word to describe how Miss Amelia Jane has felt about trying her own hand at the sport beloved by her older brothers. So the news that she would be taking her first Kids Love Soccer class came with much joy, albeit sadness that she would stop dance class to do so, and anticipation. We had a great experience with KLS for the boys' first soccer classes. Sit on the ball".
Geddessentials: August 2014

Wednesday, August 20, 2014. The Empty School Nest. Eight o'clock feels early. School-supply-laden backpacks wake them up a little. As does the excitement for the first day of fifth grade,. A familiar walk,. Although reams of paper in the packs make it feel longer. Back to the blacktop. Miss Millie starting to look a bit concerned,. As she gets her turn to line up outside the classroom. Finding her seat at the blue table,. Guess who started to tear up during. And play with my toys. And read my books.
Geddessentials: February 2014
http://geddessentials.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 23, 2014. Mondays have never been my favorite day of the week,. But they sure have improved since having a brother and a niece in the mission field. Monday is the day Brett and Shemaina send their emails out to family,. Hence the day I get to be uplifted by their testimonies and experiences. I love reading about their areas, their companions,. Their wards, their baptisms,. Not to mention the general highs and lows of the mission. Shines through every email. Elder Jory in Chile. Leadershi...

Kai W Corrigan's Blog. Monday, March 7, 2011. Kai had a very good checkup at the liver clinic this past week. He is up to 21.3 pounds. All the lab results are encouraging. Not much news about the clot in his vein, the doctors said they would have no idea it was there except that they saw it on the ultrasound. Kai is keeping everyone very busy, and we want to thank the grandparents, friends and neighbors who have helped watch him this past month. Here he is doubling back on his own tracks:. Kai's probable...
Geddessentials: North by Northwest

Monday, September 1, 2014. Our next stop took us to cousins on the other side of the family. More fun and good times! The weather surprised us- although we always seem to bring the heat with us to Washington- so there was some of this:. And some of this:. Millie's first time on a kayak. She wasn't so sure at first. as the boat wobbled while we all climbed in. But once we got moving, she settled down and actually enjoyed herself. We had fun digging up mussels in the muddy banks. The Pacific Science Center:.

Travel is not a reward for working, but an education for living. Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Leona Divide 50, Auburn, Iceland.oh my. But as soon as my name was miraculously plucked from a hat in Auburn back in December I knew I had to put in my due diligence. How many chances does a runner get to run Western States in this evolving world of ultrarunning? The straight answer is not many. The last 25 meters of LD50. Volcano Canyon (photo: Chris Price). I am a web designer and developer. Please take a look at some of the work I’ve done. This is the company website that I built and maintain. Using the ExpressionEngine CMS I was able to quickly and easily get this site launched as well as implement some advanced features. I used the categories feature of Solspace User combined with Super Search to create a files dashboard for our partners. A small microsite for a flagship product. Another website I designed and built for a sister company. Though smaller i...
