As another way to beat the heat, and do something fun, we enrolled Carter in Parent and Tot swim classes. The neighborhood next to ours has a wonderful park and recreation center. It's great to have a pool, softball field, basketball court, playground and tennis courts so close for use! So, for the last two weeks, Monday-Thursday, we have been swimming!

It's Hoagy's Teriyaki and BBQ on Folsom and Zinfindel; it would be a crime not to tell everyone I know about this place. We were going to make signs and tape them to the windows but we didn't want to scare the poor people and have them think we were vandalizing. But Hoagy's has definitely become a regular for me.
