Keegan & Martha: Hockey...Game

June 8, 2013. Every six months or so Keegan will actually have a hockey game at 7 or 8 o'clock instead of the usual 10 or 11, so we just had to go! The big kids enjoy the bribery treats and being with Annie and Papa the best, and the hockey game in the background is pretty fun too. However, for Little G. it's all about the hockey! He sat there for all three periods cheering on his dad. It was pretty darn cute. When I show him this video he repeats, "Go Dad!

July 31, 2013. This one time, in high school. About the time instant messenger was getting more popular, I was talking to Keegan late at night. After a couple hours, he told me he was hungry and that grilled cheese sounded really good. It was almost 2am, but I told him if he came over to my house I'd fire up the grill. I was pretty surprised when he responded he was on his way out the door! A little smile, and a 'now get to bed! It got me feeling a little sentimental :-).

June 21, 2013. If I Only Had a Brain. Day after day I'm more confused. I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell. Which ones did I miss? I blame the kids for my cognitive impairments.which are many! The inspiration to post something about it came as I pulled back into the driveway today after taking the kids to the park. The front door was completely open. I was really grateful to live in Logan, UT at that moment! Instead of having things missing, we added some flies. No harm done.

After we played what the kids call, 'the country game' and talked about China, Rowan asked, "When are we going to go to the place that made my bike so we can say 'hi' to them? Makes me laugh that he knows where his bike was made AND that his first thought was to say hi to the people who made it. :-).

Saturday, August 27, 2011. Ryan thought he would death march the baby out of me by making me go to the zoo in the 95° heat. It didn't work. But with Wilson being incredibly whiny these days I thought it would be a good outing for him. Hogle Zoo has a special "exhibit" that has dinosaurs placed throughout the park that move and make noise. Wilson did not like them. He would cling to Ryan for dear life any time we got close to one.
