An Arkansawyer astronomer living in DC. Friday, February 27, 2015. Today we lost Spock. Spock was a hero. Maybe to every scientist/engineer, but certainly to me. He represented logic and reason and rationality, in an increasingly irrational world. A child of the 80s, I never really loved the original series, preferring the refined Picard to the gregarious Kirk. But I loved Spock the most of all characters. His appearance in Unification made me ecstatic, as well as seeing him in the new movies.

Because they reasonably assumed that what was bad for Europeans is bad for Africans. So, I was just working on my computer, writing some e-mails, and a notification came up telling me about a meeting I have in 15 minutes. I naturally reached up to my screen and tapped on the button to dismiss the notification, and was momentarily taken aback when my computer did not respond. An Arkansawyer astronomer living in DC. Thursday, July 19, 2007. Courtney and I had a nice little time in Arkansas, even if it was a little short. We flew in on Saturday morning and headed straight up to Fort Smith to meet Ian McLellan, my new nephew. He is pretty short still, but has some weight on him. We were only able to stay until Monday afternoon, when we had to fly back up here to DC. However, while we were down, we were introduced to something other than Ian, and that is Karaoke Revolution.

While we were there, we stayed with my brother, who has a wii and a playstation 3. After a Friday night of playing Guitar Hero, he headed to Sam's on Saturday and bought Rock Band. It tells of a single female komodo dragon at the Kansas zoo who just had baby komodos without being in contact with a male komodo for the last decade.
