Monday, November 15, 2010. In February David started a program called "Couch to 5k" to start running again. While doing this program he learned from friends of a half marathon down in Mesa called Shun The Sun. It was going to be held two days before he would be 30. He decided he wanted to do it since he has never run any kind of marathon before and he enjoys running. Here are some pictures from the Half Marathon:. Sunday, June 13, 2010. Our New (used) Car. This last year we got a car that has been in my family for awhile now. It needed some work, mainly because it had an unfortunate flooding accident. Friday, March 25, 2011. On Monday David and I went down to the valley for my aunt's funeral on Tuesday. Here are some pictures of what the weather was like as we traveled:. Almost to Payson. love the fog! The funeral was good. I am amazed that while my aunt faced many problems in her life she was just a good, nice person. She will be missed. Sunday, January 31, 2010. A Very Short Trip. First, David and I had lunch with Jill at Uncle Sam's in Scottsdale. Then, later that evening we had dinner at Kortnei's with Jordan, Carly, and Sam. Sam saying hi to me. Jordan telling a funny story. Yummy BBQ ham pizzas that Kortnei had made. Dessert that David and I bought. We each had our own. Sunday morning visiting my other cute nephew and niece. They are getting too big! Showing me a dance. Playing Connect Four with Cozette. Here you go Grandma Janey!

Monday, September 12, 2011. Day 3: Morenci then Home. How can a town with lots of people not support a Dairy Queen? It boggles and saddens me. This was the hallway to our hotel room. Made me feel like I was visiting someone in the crazy house. The room was nice, though. We got one with a microwave, stove, and fridge and bought food for dinner and breakfast to have in our room instead of going out. Monday morning we started to head back home but first we took some pictures of the huge mines up there.

Wednesday, September 8, 2010. A Quick Labor Day Post. For Labor Day we had a BBQ with family and friends. It was bring your own meat and David and I decided to grill a 2 lb steak that we cut in half to share. The steak was delicious! Then it was visiting and playing the rest of the evening.
