Tuesday, December 13, 2005. Journal - On the Bus. This morning an old woman told me not to knit on the bus nor train. I didn't inted to accept her suggestion. What the Subway Knitter. Would have said, I wondered. But an episode of an actor Morita Kanya 13th has flashed in my mind. So I just finished the row I was working and quitted knitting for this time. Want to knot the episode? Kanya thanked him and tied his lace. Kanya answered, "If I did, he would never give me his advice any more.". When do I knit?

But I can't decide how I make a ring over a bead, with picots, without picots, or with small beads. So, I just made a sampler and found out I need to practice to tat SCMR with a bead in center. The working yarn (attached to the ball! Should be on the right, and the tail is on your left. Make sure the tail is long enough to cast on enough stitches! Pick up the tail in your left hand. Wrap the tail over your finger. Now put the tip of the needle through the yarn loop on your finger as if to knit it. Enter your comment here.

This is what I have renamed my SG sweater – I decided I didn’t like the cable pattern – the way I had laid it out meant that it would draw 2 circles round my boobs, which would just look weird! So I frogged it, and found a pretty leaf pattern in a Japanese stitch dictionary. The colours in the yarn had been saying ‘new leaves and blossoms’! Yay, almost done!
