Friday, August 19, 2011. The Big News.Drum Roll Please. What a busy day yesterday was! We got a lot accomplished but I am sure that Matt is tired at work today. Luckily he was able to get yesterday off so that we could find out what we are having. So this is how the day went. Showered and got Jacoy up and going. Then Taft woke up as like a little bear. I really had no hope for the day at that point. But I just kept going. Decided to wake Matt up about a half hour before we needed to leave. Guess what is ...

Monday, January 19, 2009. Ugh Blue Monday is right. Thankfully, you can get above and see something more like this. Sunday, January 04, 2009. Why 1988 was so great:. It was the year of the Calgary Olympics - Heidi and Howdy came and visited my first grade class, they taught us all about the biathlon, bobsled, and luge. The Russian figure skaters stayed in my hometown, Okotoks, and I fell in love with Ekaterenia Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov. Melanie Gilbert "pantsed" this kid, Wesley - who wouldn't get off...

Friday, September 24, 2010. On a side note. I have noticed that as the kids get older (like the 8-9 year old kids. Of the line. Does it really matter? No, but that is what happens when we get past that age when we are held accountable for our actions. Has he witnessed his parents get ahead that way, or maybe a brother or sister. Who knows, but he learned that behavior. Posted by Matt and Jenny. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). First Day of School. Friday Night Frenzy 2011. More Ham N Cheese Please!

Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Is it a Giraffe? Many, many moons ago, I was idly browsing through a bookstore, when I came across this book. Another time, in the same bookstore, I received a phone call. I was sitting next to Kate, we were across the table from Laura and Nick, and we were all browsing through wedding magazines looking for ideas for Kate's upcoming wedding, when my phone rang. I dug into my bag, saw the number, and froze. My heart was beating fast - too fast, my palms were sweaty,. On a date,.

rambling through life: March 2013

Wednesday, March 27, 2013. I drove past the Provo Tabernacle the other day - it's on its way to becoming the Provo Temple - but it actually looks horrible. just a dark empty shell on a vacant lot surrounded by construction. The fire was a tragedy - a beautiful building gone. But no - it's going to be restored! And even better, it's going to become a beautiful Temple. I'm thankful for the ways that Heavenly Father chooses to teach us about the atonement. Monday, March 25, 2013. Monday, March 04, 2013.

Monday, September 17, 2012. Singin' In The Rain. Amy hopped out of the van when we got home from dance today, grabbed her pink umberella and yellow rainboots and had a fun time "Just Singin' In The Rain"! I see so much of Jordan in her when she so freely breaks into dance (and song) at any given moment. Doesn't this just make you smile? I'm singing in the rain. Just singing in the rain. What a glorious feelin'. I walk down the lane. With a happy refrain. Singin' in the rain. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, January 14, 2011. Christmas Lights at Oglebay. This year we went to Oglebay and saw their lights. We had a fun night. We were missing our annual trip to Temple Square to see the lights though. Here were some of lights we saw. We loved the flowers and thought that Grandma Marshall would too. Oglebay is located in Wheeling, West Virginia. Posted by Matt and Jenny. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Christmas Lights at Oglebay. First Day of School. Friday Night Frenzy 2011.
