Seoul Searching: TRUTH
http://audievandyke.blogspot.com/2009/10/truth.html
Saturday, October 10, 2009. Where do I begin? I have a feeling that this posting is going to be rather RANDOM. I have tons roaming around in my head and heart but am not quite sure how to articulate them or organize them. Through Christ, maybe you can take something from this posting and be encouraged by our great Father God. HE has been quite evident in multiple ways these last weeks. First of all, let me say that I'm overwhelmed by what a great GOD we serve! I need prayer. I can see it being easy t...

Friday, January 9, 2009. I left the day after school dismissed for the holidays and flew from Seoul to Atlanta to Pensacola! It was a long but good flight. I was so glad to see my whole family waiting for me as I exited the terminal! Michaela welcoming me home. The two things I asked to be waiting on me at the airport when I arrived- -mmm mmm good! 3 of my favorite girls- -Rebecca, Erin, and Leigha; Aren't they gorgeous? Y'all rock and are such huge encouragements to me! I love and miss you! I haven't la...

Seoul Searching: April 2010

Monday, April 12, 2010. The Story of Three Trees. In a forest one day, three young trees all agreed to pray that they would be used for some noble purpose rather than decay from old age. The first tree wanted to become a manger where tired cattle could feed after a long day’s work. God rewarded the tree for having such modesty. It became a very special manger—the one in which the Son of God was laid. The tree then understood that its part in the crucifixion of Jesus provided for the salvation of humankind.

Saturday, December 31, 2011. As 2011 comes to a close, there is a lot to reflect upon in this past year. I have done so much more than I ever thought I would and have taken a lot of "chances". I really can't believe the roller coaster ride I have been on. I am actually excited to start this new year. God's promises are amazing and I know wonderful things are in store! http://audievandyke.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Let me just say that the positives have far outweighed and outshown the negatives when placed side by side! Let me share a few silly things that have made me smile lately:. Even so, I praise God for great memories and odd family members! 2 "Dear Miss Van Dyke, happy Valentine's Day! I hope Jesus will help you find a man with a Christ-like attitude. From, Albert Einstein" He is alive, and apparently I teach him! Where are you from? How old are you? Why are your eyelashes so long?

Seoul Searching: Who is Ms. Van Dyke?
http://audievandyke.blogspot.com/2010/05/who-is-ms-van-dyke.html
Sunday, May 9, 2010. Who is Ms. Van Dyke? Poetry has been our area of concentration in writing over the past couple of weeks. Last week, we ended with Definition Poetry. One of my students wrote the poem below. Things like this are rare treasures in teaching, and it's always fun to read how you're described. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at their comments earlier! That's life.it's nothing personal, right? I can't believe the year is almost over! The time flew by! Who is Ms. Van Dyke?

Sunday, December 28, 2008. Less Words.More Pictures: Part 3. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! This Thanksgiving, although spent away from family, was an absolute blessing! I had a wonderful time. One of the families from our school had 9 of us staff members over for Thanksgiving. We had turkey and all the fixins! I thank God that HE provided a home away from home at such a special time of the year and surrounded me with men, women, and kids that love HIM. I had a blessed day! UN flags in a case above...

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Laura Story songs are the best.this song. Is exactly what I am feeling right now [Don't worry people, just the life of a single girl sometimes :)] and came on my Pandora at the exact time I needed to hear, words from my heart I tell you! When I'm at the point of breaking at the place where I resign,. When I'm at the stage of shaking my head as I look back on my life,. When I'm halfway through the grieving, but not quite through the ache,. Take all of my life, all of my life,.

Seoul Searching: "He Who Glories, Let Him Glory in the LORD!!"
http://audievandyke.blogspot.com/2009/08/he-who-glories-let-him-glory-in-lord.html
Monday, August 24, 2009. He Who Glories, Let Him Glory in the LORD! That, as it is written, 'He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.'". I was so encouraged to read what one of my students felt like was a paper-writing-worthy achievement. I've copied it below:. Praise God that this little one cared enough to talk to his grandfather about Jesus! Praise the Lord for this little jewel! We can learn so much from children:). March 31, 2010 at 6:10 PM.
