Gav Emma and Joshi: big trip #2. Monday, 20 May 2013. April 2013 – time for a holiday and 2 fabulous weddings. Gav and I both knew that 2013 was going to be a hectic year for us: our last full year in Malawi, my last full year of my PhD study and there is a lot to get done. We have planned carefully to have a break every 3 months, and a trip to SA with Louise and Stephen for Joshi’s 2. Stephen and Louise at the top of Table Mountain. Emma and Gav run out of the freezing Atlantic ocean on Clifton beach.

When Mike was late home from a work trip to New York in May last year, Louise suspected immediately it was because he had met someone special. But none of us expected back then that we would be flying in from all over the world to see him get married to Julie 10 months later.
