Gavin picked out a chef costume for Halloween, complete with a white chef's hat. It was a huge success; people loved it because it was unique and he was the only chef around! The panel discussions were also very eye opening. I now feel that I have a true understanding of the purpose of a zoo and what a day in the life of a zoo keeper might actually be like (no 2 days are the same). There are also very important and distinct differences between a zookeeper and a vet. We later visited multiple memorials in DC, which are always incredible.
