Oscar Marathon #22: All The King’s Men. By Alberth on September 24, 2013. Initial release: November 8, 1949. Actors: Broderick Crawford, John Ireland, Joanne Dru, Mercedes McCambridge. Broderick Crawford succeeded to bring the character of an evil politician. He is of successful that I felt gratified when someone finally kills him. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Oscar Marathon #23: All About Eve. By Alberth on December 2, 2013. Initial release: October 13, 1950. Director: Joseph L. Mankiewicz. Actors: Bette Davis, Anne Baxter, George Sanders, Celeste Holm. Loved the music and editing. Didn’t enjoy the cinematography, though. Best ensemble characters to date. It was actually a mixed feeling, sometimes you feel bored as you can predict what’s following but you don’t want to leave until it is revealed. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Oscar Marathon #24: An American In Paris. By Alberth on December 11, 2013. Initial release: November 11, 1951. Actors: Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron, Oscar Levant, Georges Guétary. A typical musical film with great music, dance and art decoration. Other than the voice, I found nothing much to adore from the actors. It’s about right. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). By Alberth on April 11, 2014. I guess, I have returned to the old habit. Apologies to my blog *dusting. Anyway, many things have changed since my last post, which happens to be one of my Oscar marathon entries. FYI, I’m still doing it; have finished #25, #26, #27 and #28, and am currently watching on #29, but feel so lazy to post them in. Don’t worry, I will put the review in coming days. And what else is different? And that’s about my professional life. How about the personal one? Tags: It's my life.

The geekiest romantic song ever (and yet I love it). By Alberth on October 31, 2013. Kudos to the Big Bang Theory crew to successfully deliver yet another unforgettable episode. Who would have thought that Doctor Who, Uranium 238 and a line in Klingon can be transformed to a song of dedication lyrics? Definitely one of my favourite songs this year. If I didn’t have you (Bernadette’s Song). Performed by Simon Helberg, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar and Mayim Bialik. I’d speak a lot...

Suddenly Holland (Part I). By Alberth on February 22, 2015. Now where is my strength to write another post on this blog? It’s a question I keep asking to myself. Writing tidbits in a blog seems so yesterday, as I always found something better doing when I was in the net. Anyway, here I am again. And guess what? I’m in the Netherlands! So there you go. My short life in Enschede has officially begun. Next post, the study life. Oude Markt, Enschede, Netherlands. Tags: It's my life. Larr; Another opportunity.

By Alberth on July 18, 2014. Gosh, I still can&#...
