Never have I been soooo taken off guard when Matt and Linda pull up in front of the airport (serving Lillihammer and Oslo) , where there is a hotel I thought we were checking into. NOT! Linda turns around and says "SURPRISE, WE'RE TAKING YOU TO NAXOS GREECE FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY! How exciting, and what a wonderful surprise for your birthday! Id love to go there someday!

Wednesday, July 30, 2008. July 26, 2008 Trip to island cabin (Alsund Fjord). We had a surprise, thanks to Linda's cousin Lise, when we arrived to the Trondheim dock. A friend of her family, Sverrer, was going to sail us to the island cabin on his 37ft. sail/yaght called "Mette Marit". WOW! It was and he was eating it up. One neighbor even called him to be sure it was him. Very funny. We spent 2 nights on the island and were there for record breaking heat! Friday, July 25, 2008. It is now Saturday morning...

Sunday, July 31, 2011. THEN to the new adventure, drive in outdoor Bingo. I really must learn Norwegian numbers. Linda repeated them. We didn't win but it was a hoot.
