Hmmm I wonder…. November 3, 2009} Gazelle on a bike. Whew It’s been a long, exciting ride, but I am back! Readers, sorry for disappearing for so long. New goal: blog more frequently. Last night I biked to Gates Pass, a wonderful mirador from which people watch the sunset in the Saguaro Nat’l Park outside of Tucson. Hmmm I wonder…. July 31, 2009} Hola Todos! I write from the road (literally) to Tucson while Jeremiah drives. We’re driving into the sunset surrounded by the open desert plains between the Guadalupe National Park in west TX and Las Cruces, NM. Oil rigs (we passed quite a few large wind farms a few hours ago too), yellowish grass, scrubby brush, seeding yuccas, and Joshua trees are sparsely littered all around us. It’s almost dark now and the laptop is losing juice, so I’ll end here. Theme: Girl in Green.

Hmmm I wonder…. August 6, 2009} Of castles, kitties, and car troubles. It’s day number 5 for me in this strange place called Tucson, AZ. I’m getting to know my new surroundings (thanks for the TomTom, Mara and Jordan! It’s been highly useful, but I’m being careful not to use it as a crutch so I actually learn the way around the city.) and my new roomie, Kirstin, who is fabulous. Guest house- front view. Guest house ceramic roof tiles, side gates. House, guest house, fountain. 3 car garage and lemon tree.
