About a girl: March 2014
http://agirlcomeshome.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Ruminations of a mother and daughter. Saturday, March 15, 2014. Permission to grieve, please. It's been a year since I've felt brave enough to put any of my thoughts in writing. I've been floundering in a turbulent ocean of emotions. I apologize in advance for the inarticulate ramblings below. You know how they say you should consult with your doctor, you should pair therapy with medication, blah, blah, blah. I'm that idiot who never listens. And yet, maybe I was never fully truthful - even to myself.

Monday, August 4, 2014. You can read it here. Not Only The Things That Have Happened. And is now available on Kindle outside of South Asia for a very good price. You can find it on Amazon US. About a girl: Motherland, Day 9: She sells sea shells
http://agirlcomeshome.blogspot.com/2013/02/motherland-day-9-she-sells-sea-shells.html
Ruminations of a mother and daughter. Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Motherland, Day 9: She sells sea shells. And squid and octopus and jumping shrimps and wiggly crabs and creepy eels and red fish and white fish and yellow fish and more. After the fish market, we headed toward some windmills we'd seen in the distance. It turned out there was a little walking park along the shore, so we stopped and walked a bit. Fresh air, waves crashing, a little rain spray. It was calming. View my complete profile.

About a girl: February 2011
http://agirlcomeshome.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Ruminations of a mother and daughter. Thursday, February 10, 2011. I have a bad habit of referring to five as an even number. I know it's not. But in our base-10 numeral system, it feels like a nice even position. Halfway to something. Not too small, not too big. Not too young or old or early or late. (It's also my birth date — another reason to look forward to five). So Miss M is five months old today. And I know I just said five is not too old. But it feels like it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
