If you were one of the people who rolled your eyes…then keep on rolling….that’s it…all the way over there….good. I read this tweet from Melissa Cole. And found the content. Inspiring. The theme: What Does Your Beer Say About You? I wrote some of my own:. Persistent, appreciative, dependable, practical and passive. Your best day of the wee...

I Moo Clarity: September 2011
http://militarycoo.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Verbose ramblings from @MilitaryCoo. Wednesday, 14 September 2011. My homebrew wort chiller. My current method of chilling wort after boiling is to lower a smaller pan full of iced water into the boiler, changing the water once it warms up. Hardly ideal, and it takes quite some time to get the boiling sugar solution down to pitching temperature. Dry assembly of cold feed and output arms. Cold feed arm soldered and positioned for size check. A close up of some rather untidy soldering. Links to this post.

"I'm Getting Lychee...!": August 2014
http://imgettinglychee.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
The home brewing exploits of Graham Nelson. Tuesday, 19 August 2014. This is just a quick note to explain what an IBU is and how to work out how many of them your homebrew's got. It's also the 100th post on this blog. What a milestone! IBU stands for International Bittering Units and the bitterness of a beer can be quantified and expressed in IBUs. One IBU is the same as one milligram of isomerised alpha acid per litre of beer. Multiply this figure by 1000 to get milligrams and divide by the batch size t...
