Whoever you are, wherever you find yourself. On your journey of faith, you are welcome here. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. The Sunday Sermon: the Last Sunday (with video). What a road THIS has been! So I googled it when I got home, and the next Sunday we came in and we were IMMEDIATELY and warmly welcomed by Deedra Hardman – of course! All Our Voices: The Sunday Sermon: There's No Silencing God's Mission
http://stpaulcathedral.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-sunday-sermon-theres-no-silencing.html
Whoever you are, wherever you find yourself. On your journey of faith, you are welcome here. Sunday, July 12, 2015. The Sunday Sermon: There's No Silencing God's Mission. His words were not well received. And why should they have been? Why place the story of John’s death in between such dramatic scenes? But what is good news for the marginalized may be first heard as bad news for those in power. The story of the silenced prophet is nothing new. Indeed, God’s beloved Son and eternal Word would b...With yo...

Whoever you are, wherever you find yourself. On your journey of faith, you are welcome here. Sunday, July 19, 2015. The Sunday Sermon: One humanity. We are bombarded by fear-inducing images and stories, and this fear scatters us as the sheep are scattered by the wolf. Not only does the fear drive us apart, it makes us aggressive and reactive, so that we behave in ways that make God weep, denying full dignity to one another, refusing relationship, turning away from those we should be embracing. The dream ...
