Tucker Savoye blogs about sports, from the professional ranks to college and discusses timely topics and trends you need to know about. Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Much has been made about Miguel Cabrera and Chris Davis becoming the first players to ever hit the All-Star Break with 30 homers and more than 90 RBI's. Davis is on pace for 62 bombs and 157 runs batted in while Cabrera is in line to slug 52 dingers and plate 164 Tigers. If either finishes with 50 and 150 they would join pretty elite company.

Tucker Savoye blogs about sports, from the professional ranks to college and discusses timely topics and trends you need to know about. Monday, February 15, 2010. We update our formulas.". That's a classic Gang Starr line from their "Moment of Truth" album and it applies to the very outdated and stale dunk content we witnessed at NBA All-Star Weekend in Dallas. My proposal stems from something we saw last year. Dwight Howard dunked on an 11-foot hoop in the contest and did it with ease. Get four guys and...

http://philomis.blogspot.com/2010/05/mired-in-mediocrity.html
Scores, stats, links, information and more on the Boys of Blair. Tuesday, May 4, 2010. It's better to be average than bad. But it sure would be nice to be better than simply mediocre. Such is the conundrum of Long Beach State's two biggest men's teams. The basketball team followed up a 15-15 campaign in 2008-2009 with a 17-16 season in 2009-2010. Now they can't get over the hump since their disappointing early exit from the regional they hosted at the end of the 2008 season. The line-up has produced much...

Played 71 tremendous holes at The Player's Championship before missing what would have been the winning putt on 18 and hitting his tee shot into the water on the first playoff hole. The famed island green on the 17th at the TPC did the Long Beach native. The most interesting part. Posted by Philo Mis. UCSB Gets One for Mom.

Scores, stats, links, information and more on the Boys of Blair. Monday, March 31, 2008. Raised on The Farm. Note: Long Beach State travels to Palo Alto today to play Stanford. I grew up there and thought I would reflect on that). Before there were lights, or stadium seats or crowds in the thousands there were just sun-swept afternoons.
