And then from Evans Pass, Lyndal popped out on her MTB to cheer us on, we left Kylie and picked up Nadine. It was a rest day for Nadine, shhhh, Richard. 160; 16.4km is a rest right?

Forty, fit and fantastic. On 1 Aug 2010 · Leave a Comment. Several people have asked whether it feels different being 40. No, not for me anyway. I really haven’t thought too much about how OLD I am. As I said to one person, at 30 I couldn’t run a marathon. And more than that, I couldn’t exercise for 7 hours on my feet. Don’t get me wrong, my thoughts of cycling don’t lead anywhere except a couple of rides of 1-2 hours and flat! I’ve pushed myself each year, sometimes physically, sometimes mentally.

Not a lot of sympathy for Mark when he’s coughing up a lung for 2.5 hours in the early hours of the morn. I’m mindful of what Richard. Said about stressing the body. Today I ran up Rapaki to the Summit Road. I ended up walking 2, or was it 3 times. Walking makes me notice how tight my calves are, so it’s not necessarily beneficial.

I do not like green eggs and ham. A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Finally something savoury: Beef Pull-apart sandwiches. On 1 September 2012. Yes, you guessed right. I got this recipe. I really wasn’t sure where I was going to fit these. Afternoon tea was at 3pm naturally. And these were ready a little sooner than I expected. They look just like the photos on the original blog post, but just because I can, I took a few photos too. I bet you’re not surprised to learn I’m feeling rather full.
