Jul 24, 2011. 跑一下速度測試，比較內接 SATA 和外接 USB 差多少. 讀取約 450MB/s，寫入約 105MB/s. 固態硬碟 SSD 的型號為美光 Micron m4 64GB. 128GB 和 256GB 的官方寫入速度會更快. 當初是選擇最便宜，號稱"環保"的 Seagate 2TB. 外接的 35 吋 2TB 硬碟，USB 2.0 介面. 讀取約 30MB/s，寫入約 25MB/s. 裡面用的是 WD 2TB，大概也是"環保節電"型. 不過其實也不重要，因為被 USB 2.0 給限制住了. 外接的 25 吋 500GB 行動硬碟，USB 2.0 介面. 讀取約 32MB/s，寫入約 27MB/s. 比 35 吋的外接應碟還快一些些，不過一樣是被 USB 2.0 限制住. 外接的 25 吋 1TB 行動硬碟，USB 3.0 介面. 讀取約 97MB/s，寫入約 97MB/s. 新的 USB 3.0 介面可以說幾乎解放了硬碟該有的速度. 超過舊有 USB 2.0 三倍以上. In GEEK, we trust. Jun 12, 2011. Nook Color 是美國連鎖書店 Barnes and Noble 推出的電子書閱讀器. 產品名稱中 Color 的意思，是使用了彩色液晶螢幕 (事實上，還是 IPS 面板哩). 相對於另外一款 Nook 是黑白灰階的 e-ink 螢幕. 不過 Nook 和 Nook Color 都是 Android 作業系統加上自製的介面. Nook Color 的包裝頗有趣，上下兩部分用磁鐵吸住. Nook Color 機器本身就在中間，下半部的盒子裡是配件，充電器與連接線. 拿出 Nook Color，第一個感覺是：小小機身卻頗有重量. 七吋螢幕的大小，差不多可以一手掌握，重量 438 克在手裡比想像中來得沉. 整個機身上的實體按鈕共有左側面的電源鍵，右側面的音量鍵以及正面的 home 鍵. Home 鍵設計成 Nook 的標誌，小寫的 N 字母. 底部有個 micro USB 插槽，頂部則是 3.5mm 耳機孔. 不過隨附的 micro USB 連接線很特別，金屬接點特別長，無法給其他裝置用. 171; Older Post.

Gmail 裡的 Google Rader 連結. 每天都會開 Gmail，也一定都會進 Google Reader 看看訂閱的一堆東西. 常常只要一整天沒碰電腦沒上網，Google Reader 就會累積上千個未讀…. 但，這一天卻發現 Google Reader 在 Gmail 左上角的連結不見了？！ 其實也不是什麼大問題，只不過變得很不順手，得多點個 more 才跳得出來. 再不然，也可以自己打上網址，又不是 Google Reader 網站不見. 只是感覺生活中的小小規律被打破了（好像也不錯？XD）. 今天再打開 Gmail，發現 Reader 的連結又回來了（第一張圖） :D. 171; Older Post.
