What is a Michigan Shore Lunch? Since I'm a big fan of cooking and an even bigger fan of eating, I take my grill with me. If you book a 5 hour am trip, you get lunch when we return back to the ramp. I don't miss too many meals and I'm not about to start. Bring A Friend and Split the Cost. Walleye trips are for up to 3 people; all other trips which involve casting are limited to 2 people. All tackle is provided or you may bring your own. So What's This Gonna Cost? Detroit River trips only.

April Walleye trips can be pretty cold, so dress for the weather. I want you to be comfortable, so bring your hat, gloves, etc. Remember that, whatever the temperature is on land, it's at least 10 degrees cooler on the water and windy. Motion Medication (if needed). A Cooler to Carry Your Catch Home (There will be a cooler on the boat for your snacks and drinks). All tackle is provided or you may bring your own. What Are We Fishin' For? Walleye (April - May). Smallmouth Bass (May - October). Smallmouth Bass fishing is always great on Lake St. Clair and now with the new catch and release season prior to the general season, the bite will simply wear you out when the conditions are right.
