From time to time I have been known to have awkward moments of ignorance or rather ‘gaps in my knowledge’ (sounds a bit kinder). Yesterday, my first day in Paris, is the sight for my latest learning. I was walking back from a show at the Melbourne Recital Centre taking in the sunshine and generally feeling pretty good about life, when out of the blue this boy, in a blue cap with the letters FPS embroidered on it, runs up and hands me a postcard.
