Wednesday, August 29, 2007. My plan was to depart early and wander the back roads west to WV then wander south to the town of Elkins. No real reason for that except that it looked like it would be interesting, at least according to its web site. Within 1/2 mile of departure I had another close encounter with a Deer. Man they are thick up there! I cautiously picked my way through the rural roads to PA 453. This road pokes its way through absolutely. This road catches the NE corner of WV and leads to Elkins.

He wanted to take his old '83 Honda instead of his new BMW touring bike. Go figure. We spent a couple hours replacing the steering bearings and road-tested the old Honda. Wednesday, August 29, 2007. I had the offer of a room at a friend's house in Appleton, WI. I figure if someone is crazy enough to invite me in for a few days then I'm crazy enough to go. The trip to Appleton was rather uneventful. As there was nothing really different, until Wisconsin. I crossed into WI near a town called "Spread Eagle." I wanted a pic of the sign but. Wednesday, January 16, 2008. And the verdict is. . . Hemangiomas are the most common benign tumor in infants, and that up to 10% Caucasian infants have at least one. An interesting fact that I found out was that hemangiomas are 3 to 5 times more common in females (especially fair-skinned girls) and that only 15% of all hemangiomas occur on an arm or leg. Monday, July 21, 2008. Decided on a name and on "Probation" (all in a weeks time). Brett and I have finally decided on a name for our little rascal who wants to make her debut just a little too early. We are going to name her Madison Rae and call her Maddie for short. Kylie is super excited and tries to feed her little sister carrots and all sorts of yummie things through my belly button. She is too cute! 98 days to go until Maddie's due date! Tuesday, September 30, 2008. 36 weeks 2 days. Well, we're in the home stretch! Went to the Dr today and so far my total weight gain is 20 pounds. Madison's heartbeat was at 150 and she is lodged in the head down position. The Dr said that I am now measuring a week ahead of my due date and that Madison is around 6 pounds.
